The Listening Space
A monthly group drop-in for nervous system healing, somatic attunement, and capacity-building.
This is one of the most common things I hear from clients. And it makes so much sense. Most ‘regulation’ practices out there aren’t created with your specific nervous system in mind. They are often oriented toward fixing. And, they often skip over attunement, pacing (titration), safety building, and relationship—which are the very things that make healing possible…
This is why I created The Listening Space. A space where you don’t have to perform or push. A space rooted in attunement. Held in connection. Oriented toward relational healing.
Because nervous system work isn’t something we’re meant to do alone—and your body doesn’t need to be fixed. It needs to be listened to—with an understanding for how hard it’s been trying to protect you. This is where healing can begin to take root…
“I’ve tried nervous system regulation practices, and they don’t seem to work for me.”
The Listening Space is a monthly group drop-in (via Zoom) where we gather to connect and be with what’s present in your body. Through attuned, intentional, and titrated somatic and nervous system practices, we explore ways to help you build more internal safety, resilience, and capacity.
Lyss, your practitioner and space holder, is trauma-trained and grounded in the belief that your nervous system’s responses are never wrong—it’s your system doing exactly what it knows to do to keep you safe. In this space, we don’t force change. Instead, we learn to listen, get curious, and over time, create the conditions for something new to emerge, at your body’s pace.
Each call is live and responsive to the group, and no two sessions are the same. There’s also no monthly commitment, simply pay as you go and attend the calls that work with your schedule! ↓

HOW IT WORKS
Meet Your Practitioner, Lyss!
I’m a passionate trauma-informed and trauma-trained somatic practitioner combining evidence-based modalities with intuitive guidance/nervous system attunement to support my clients in regulating their nervous systems, building stress resilience, integrating all parts of themselves, and accessing more safety.
My approach is grounded in compassion, safety, and an understanding of the body’s innate ability to heal when given the right tools, attunement, and environment.
I’m trained in and/or currently training in Somatic Experiencing®, the gold standard for body-based trauma resolution, Somatic Stress Release™, Somatic Parts Work (a somatic variation of IFS), Attachment Theory, Polyvagal Theory, and Titrated Breathwork Modalities. We’ll use a combination of these practices, as well as ongoing nervous system education, to support your system.
